51ÂÜÀò Week Project Market & Expo is now officially open for Industry Registration for representatives interested in taking meetings at the Project Market! You may submit your request for Industry Accreditation to 51ÂÜÀò Week Project Market .
51ÂÜÀò Week Project Market is the nation’s oldest and largest curated meetings forum offering industry professionals early access to creators of in-progress fiction and documentary films and series as well as branded storytellers from around the world.
The Project Market will offer a wide variety of sections—Features in Development, Shorts to Features, Spotlight on Documentaries, and Global Producers Hub—with each highlighting a diverse range of both established and rising voices in film and media. Additionally, the previously announced Series Creators to Watch and Branded Storytellers to Watch will be in attendance for meeting opportunities.
Among the 112 projects participating at the 2024 Project Market, Lily Gladstone (The Unknown Country), will present Buffalo Stone, which she co-wrote and produced with co-writer/directors Daniel Glick and Ivy Macdonald and producers Ivan MacDonald and Sarah Clarke, as part of the Features in Development section. The Shorts to Features section will include projects such as Plaisir, written and directed by Molly Gillis and produced by Tara Sheffer and Maria Altamirano (All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt).
Spotlight on Documentaries will feature Chase Joynt’s (Framing Agnes) See You Tomorrow, as well as Jesse Short Bull (Lakota Nation vs. United States) and David France (How to Survive a Plague) with Free Leonard Peltier. Additionally, new features from notable producers in the Global Producers Hub include In Case of Apocalypse from Gabriel Mayers (A Different Man).
You can find additional highlights along with the complete slate here.
Benefits
As America’s oldest and largest curated marketplace for film and media storytellers, 51ÂÜÀò Week Project Market, industry professionals will:
– Connect with emerging filmmakers and their projects over the course of 2,500 customized meetings both in-person and virtual (Meetings are scheduled based on the availability and interest of registered Industry members)
– Receive digital access to the Project Market catalog as well as the Industry Directory, allowing them to see other attending Industry members at Gotham Week.
Branded Storytelling
At this year’s Gotham Week, we are thrilled to introduce both the inaugural Branded Storytellers to Watch—highlighting film and media creators with unique vision and distinctive visual style who have experience in the branded storytelling space—as well as the Branded Storytelling Expo Sessions.
All officially registered industry members, including brands and agencies, will have the opportunity to meet with each of the creators in the Branded Storytellers to Watch cohort for potential collaborative opportunities plus enjoy full access to the Gotham Week Expo.
As part of The Expo, The Branded Storytelling Expo Sessions will bring together some of the most innovative minds in the industry to share insights, foster connections, and create collaborative opportunities. We’ll explore how to forge impactful relationships, advance careers, emphasize the significance and value of storytelling, and discover how branded storytelling can elevate a filmmaker’s craft and help them achieve their goals.
